Description
The blue door of the Cedar Creek Winery in Cedarburg, Wis., leads to a an opportunity to taste wines produced in the Midwest.
This photo was taken on an early spring day before the ivy had a chance to leaf and cover the walls. The lighting was a bit flat, so HDR filters were used to emulate golden afternoon lighting.

I really like this composition Mary... I like that old flower pot in the foreground and the blue door is heavenly. :-) F/V

Lovely image, Mary! I love old doors with character and blue is one of my favorite colors, so I think this image works wonderfully! fv

Hmmmm! Too bad it's the day before our annual Art Show and Garden Walk at our property, as that is a biggy for us. Otherwise, I may just have come to that event. Thanks for sharing the info though, as I appreciate strawberries and wine combination. LOL

And now we know, what's behind the blue door. Sounds like a great place to visit, Mary! Been to a couple and watching the process is almost as much fun as the wine tasting. Notice, I said almost! LOL Very nice capture, and I would guess this is a rather old building, by the structure. Thanks for sharing this shot of interest with us! Happy tasting!

It is a lot of fun, especially when they have the seasonal Cedarburg festivals. The Strawberry festival is coming up on June 23
