Description
This cubist smoke abstract celebrates Picasso's first breath.
When Pablo Picasso was born, the midwife thought he was stillborn. His uncle, a doctor, was in the room smoking a cigar. He blew smoke into the infant Picasso’s face, to which he reacted with a grimace and proceeded to bellow, proving that he was indeed alive.
