Description
A dancer in a red shawl and dress is featured in a performance of flamenco.
The roots of flamenco lies in the Roma migration from Rajasthan to Spain between the 9th and 14th centuries. These migrants brought with them musical instruments, such as tambourines, bells, and wooden castanets, and an extensive repertoire of songs and dances. In Spain they encountered the cultures of the Sephardic Jews and the Moors. Their centuries-long cultural intermingling produced the unique art form known as flamenco.

INTENSE reds! How awesome! Love the shallow DOF! Amazing dancing bokeh! FAV!
Mary Machare replied:
Thank you! The stages are always so dark and the dancers moving so fast at times, that it is a fun challenge to do post processing to make the photos work.
