The colors of early spring.... deep purple crocus with golden stamens blooming before the rest of the plants have awakened. The dogwood with its red branches is still bare, but provides the perfect foil for the purple flowers dancing in the breeze.

A mandala or kaleidoscope design celebrating early spring.

As a designer, I try to find the little twist that sparks a connection, a wave of delight. When not otherwise occupied with developing brands, logos, packaging and trade show displays, I travel with my artist husband in search of inspiration. Many of the photos are from my home state of Wisconsin and from Spain and Peru. Wherever we go, the camera is in my hand, capturing the little things that inspire awe or make me smile.
