Description
Today most cars seem alike, but in the late 1950s, automobile manufacturers created wild designs, outfitting vehicles with red rocket-like tail lenses, dual antennas, and swooping twin tail fins. The Dodge D500 Custom Royal was part of an elite class of dramatic styling that included multi-colored paint schemes, lots of chrome, distinctive grills and a V-8 engine. All of the the 1959 Dodge passenger cars were fitted with Torsion-Air front suspension and rear leaf suspension.

You can just tell how much bigger and heavier these older cars were, a great look into the past.
